Get to know Tillie Rose Studio

Here at Studio Pips, we have recently introduced Tillie Rose Studio products in store and online, and we couldn’t be more excited! The founder, Tillie, began the brand in 2019 as side project, but by 2020 things had taken off so well she was able to design and create her fabulous products full time. Her products include hand designed cards, quirky cartoon pin badges, funky vinyl stickers and beautiful wrapping paper. With pastel and ice cream-esque colour palettes inspiring each of Tillie’s creations what’s not to love?

We asked Tillie Rose Studio some questions so we can all get to know the brand and its inventor even better.

How did you start Tillie Rose?

Tillie Rose Studio started as a little side project more than anything, while I was working various jobs / internships that didn’t bring me creative joy. I sort of fell into starting my business by accident as it wasn’t ever something I’d really considered before.

What were the first products you started selling?

I first started with 5 prints, I used to sell illustrated movie & TV poster prints and they were the first things I listed on my shop.

What inspires your Tillie Rose products?

I’m inspired by the things I see around me in every day life, by the things I see and do. Movies & TV are a huge source of inspiration for me, as well as travelling.

How do you make sure you are sourcing quality eco friendly materials?

I always use eco friendly / biodegradable options where I can, all my packaging is either recyclable or compostable. I use recycled paper options where possible too. It’s hard as a small business to be sustainable with everything you do but if there is an eco friendly option I will always do my best to use it.

What three words would you use to describe Tillie Rose?

Colourful, funky, cosy.
