New Brand Alert - Nemi Teas

We are so excited to share that we will now be stocking Nemi Teas here at StudioPips. We love everything about this brand, from the taste of the teas to the ethos, sustainability and equal opportunities they stand for. Learn more about Nemi Teas, their story and the fantastic work they do below.

Delicious teas,
good for the people.

We believe that good taste starts with good business. We make premium tea products, that spark enjoyment and create opportunities for refugees to shape their own journey.

EMPLOYMENT FOR REFUGEES — we believe everyone in the UK regardless whether they are refugees or economic migrants should get the same chances as all Londoners for a decent quality of life and the opportunity to contribute to London and its development.

FAIRTRADE MOVEMENT — often those who grow and pick your tea don’t earn enough to feed their families let alone plan for the future. As a Fairtrade-certified organisation we buy our tea on Fairtrade terms, benefitting farmers and workers in many ways, from improved working conditions through to training in how to improve the way they farm and manage their environment to the opportunity to improve healthcare and education in their community.

ORGANIC LIVING — organic is a system of farming and food production that aims to produce sufficient quantities of high-quality food. As an Organic-certified tea supplier, we ensure that the tea you buy has been made in a way that is better for people, animals and wildlife, and respects the natural environment.

And the planet.

BIODEGRADABLE TEA BAGS — our pyramid tea bags are fully biodegradable as they made of a Polylactic Acid (PLA) mesh filter derived from 100% non-GMO sugarcane. The bags are joined at the seams ultrasonically, without the use of heat. Lastly even the string and labels are both attached using ultrasound rather than glue!

PLASTIC-FREE PACKAGING — both our teabags and loose-leaf tea are packed in a material called NatureFlex™. It uses films that are based strongly on renewable resources. NatureFlex™ films are based on cellulose. Cellulose is one of the most naturally abundant organic material and comes from renewable wood pulp, typically sourced from hard wood species such as eucalyptus. Proven to be suitable for home composting, they are also marine degradable.

We hope you love NEMI Teas as much as we do.
