The Studio Space
With an abundance of natural light, white walls, stone floor and a large whiteboard our space is perfect for hosting workshops.
We have 14 chairs with 7 tables available in the space. These can be rearranged to suit your workshop needs. If you require less tables and chairs, we can remove these from the room before you start.
We have a heated urn for hot water which will be in the studio space during your workshops for students to help themselves to teas and coffee.
We have ample free parking for your students. The studio is accessible via wheelchair with disabled toilets located within close proximity to the studio space.
All workshops will be promoted in store and across our social media channels.
Here at the studio we are based on site at Twinlakes. If your workshop requires absolute quietness, for example a meditation class we suggest booking on a day where the park is closed to the public. These are Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the year during which the workshop attendees will be the only clients on site.
Lunches
We have teamed up with the wonderful local business Moos Kitchen. Moos kitchen can provide locally sourced lunches for your students to be delivered directly to the studio. You can book these direct with Moos Kitchen for the whole class and add the cost onto your ticket price or you can provide the option for students to order these themselves.
Lunches can be purchased individually by students or for the whole class by the host via the workshop page.
Of course, students are welcome to bring there own lunches for the day.
Location
Our studio space is located adjacent to our store, on site at Twinlakes Park, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.
It is prime location to attract students from Leicestershire, Nottingham and surrounding areas.
Travelling by Car
We always recommend using up-to-date Sat Navs (for Google Maps simply type Twinlakes Park).
Our postcode is: LE14 4FF. Please tune in to local radio stations for road closures. Our preferred partner is Gem Radio (DAB, App and 106 FM).
We ask our guests to please show respect for our neighbours and the environment by not speeding or driving aggressively. There are many walkers, cyclists and horse riders in this area and we would like to ensure the safety of all road users. Our rural location means that we have surrounding roads that are single track and cannot be used by excessive road users.
Travelling by Train
Melton Mowbray Train Station has direct link too many major Towns & Cities including Leicester, Peterborough, Cambridge, Stansted Airport, Grantham, Oakham and Birmingham New Street. You are then able to get a Taxi from outside the station to Twinlakes Park which is 4 minutes away.
Room Rates
Our studio is available through a simple hourly fee of 10GBP. We also offer the option of taking in tutors with a shared % of ticket sales, or an hourly wage to tutors.
Your workshop will be promoted in store and on our social media pages.
We will simply require a name list of attendees so we can allow them on site to attend the workshop. This can either be done via checklist at reception, with students then directed to walk down to the studio or the host can meet students at reception, head count and take the students down to the studio.
