THE BUUB PROJECT STORY:
My Mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in June 2019, a few days after her 60th birthday.
She had a lumpectomy along with radiotherapy and finished treatment on Christmas Eve 2019. We were exhausted.
I know for many women that it isn’t as straight forward as my mum’s journey was. That they battle for years and often don’t win. We feel very lucky to still have my mum around. The NHS couldn’t do enough for her, the after care she’s received has been phenomenal!
The hope is that our collective contribution can change at least one woman’s life and make her journey a little easier.
